Guild City Requirements

Need an architect to make the pieces and the plans. Vendors to buy the stuff to make the plans are turned off so we are screwed right now.

Resources for the keep:

* 2.5 Gold - Monies (assumed from other sources)
* 150 Ash - Woodcutting
* 50 Silver - Prospecting
* 100 Copper - Mining
* 200 Sandstone - Stonecutting

Any crafting guide can take you to your guild city.

You can craft what you need for a keep as a starter architect, and you can gather what you need as a starter of every gathering profession.

Some info on guild city requirements emailed to me via a guildmate. I'm going this architecture route eventually, and it's also good info to have, either way.

Resource: Feat Calculator

Another great resource for all of us shamans - a basic feat calculator for sharing feat builds.

Some game tweaks may cause the tooltip data on said page to be out of date, but it's still a great resource for playing with builds (*ahem* at work, or away from your gaming computer...) especially if Funcom ever stops supporting free Feat resets via the Feat Fixers in town.

First Impressions

Well, with the server now down for approx. 2 hours maintenance, I guess I have time to jot down some thoughts.

First off, the class is durable - feels almost like a resto druid in WoW pvp - but with better damage dealing potential. You have to keep some HoT's on yourself (Blood Flow and Renewal) - with the talent trees initially allowing extra healing/damage while Blood Flow is up.

Unfortunately, the early destiny quests for healers offer mostly cloth/light armor rewards - without the benefit of a shield, it means you're a little more exposed until you start getting yourself some medium armor items - so, not only do you want Blood Flow up for the combat buffs, but early on, you really need it for the healing as well.

AoC Wiki - Bear Shaman

AoC Wiki is likely to become a solid resource of Age of Conan related information - relevant to our discussion, of course, is the Bear Shaman entry - which will hopefully be filled out over the next few days, as some of us build up our own and provide input to the entries.
